How it works
Built around the four things that actually decide whether this works.
Verification you can’t skip. A profile that says where you’re from. Matches ranked by what you share, not just distance. And a first message that was never going to be “hey”.

You already did the hard part. You moved.
- 01
Verify once, properly
A selfie, checked by a person against your photos, before your profile is visible to anyone. Not a badge you buy — the only way in. If you can see someone here, a moderator has matched their face to their photos.
- 02
Say where you are from, and where you are going
Home country, where you live now, the languages you speak and the year you arrived. The things that actually decide whether this works.
- 03
Best matches first, not nearest first
Who you see first depends on what you share — language, home country, year of arrival, what you are looking for — with distance as a gentle tie-breaker. The people most likely to get you come first.
- 04
Like the thing they said
Like a specific photo or answer, and that is where your conversation opens — not with a blank "hey". Conversations start somewhere real.
For people who moved for work, for study, for love, or just because.

People in photos are models, not members.

Questions
Is this only for immigrants?
It is built for people whose life has crossed a border — immigrants, expats, refugees, international students, returnees, and anyone dating across cultures. Nobody is turned away, but everything here is designed around that experience.
How do you stop the scammers that plague international dating sites?
Verification is mandatory: a moderator checks your selfie against your photos before your profile is visible to anyone. Reporting takes two taps from any chat and blocks the person at once, a moderator reviews every report, and a suspended scammer's email cannot be used to sign up again. The chat also warns you when money or moving to WhatsApp comes up. The category has a bad reputation and it was earned — we built against it deliberately.
What does it cost?
Nothing for the part that matters. Seeing who liked you, messaging your matches and every safety feature are free forever, and so is translation in chat. Plus will add more likes each day and a travel and relocation mode, planned at £12.99 a month, and a founding membership for the first 1,000 members is planned at £69 a year. Neither is on sale yet, and the full price, renewal terms and your right to cancel will be shown before anyone can buy.
Can I hear or see someone before meeting them?
Yes. You can send voice messages in chat, so you hear someone before you meet them, and members can add up to three short voice answers to their profile (a moderator listens to each one first). Once you have matched, you can also make audio and video calls from inside the conversation, with live captions where your browser supports them; translated captions are coming soon. Calls never reveal your phone number.
Does a video call prove someone is real?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Real-time deepfake filters can pass a casual video call, and a voice can be cloned from a few seconds of audio. A call is a good way to see whether you click before spending an evening on it — our mandatory selfie check, reviewed by a person, is what shows someone matches their photos. In an in-app video call, one tap shows you what to ask for: the things fakes glitch on.
Is there an app for my phone?
The site works in a modern phone browser and can be added to your home screen. Native Android and iOS apps are planned — the code is written so they will be the same product, not a worse copy of it.
My English is not strong. Is that a problem?
No. The whole site and app can be shown in your language: choose it from the globe at the top of the page. You can list the languages you speak, search for people who speak yours, and the matchmaker gives a shared language real weight. And translation is built into chat: tap “Translate” under a message, free.
Can I join from anywhere?
Yes. Anyone 18 or over can register, wherever they live. Matching works across borders: shared languages, home country and what you are both looking for decide who you see first, and distance is only a tie-breaker. You can say on your profile whether you are open to long distance. We are new, so there may be few people near you at first, and we will never fill the gaps with fake profiles.
