Accessibility statement

What we have built in

• You can use the site with a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are.
• Buttons and form fields have labels for screen readers, and new messages are announced.
• Our colours are chosen so text meets the AA contrast standard.
• If you have asked your device to reduce motion, we reduce animation. The scrolling list on our home page has a pause button.
• Every swipe has a button that does the same thing.
• You can zoom the page, and we write in plain English.

Known limitations

• Voice notes in chat do not have a text version yet. If you cannot hear them, you can ask your match to write instead.
• Photos that members upload do not have text descriptions, so a screen reader cannot describe them.
• Verification needs a selfie taken with a camera, with your face visible. If that is difficult for you, please contact us so a person can look at what we can do.
• We have not yet tested every signed-in screen with disabled people using assistive technology.
• Live captions in audio and video calls are made by each person’s own browser, so they work only where the browser supports speech recognition (for example Chrome, Edge and Safari, but not Firefox), and only when the person speaking turns them on.

How we tested

On 4 October 2026 we reviewed the site against WCAG 2.2 AA, using an automated checker on our public pages and a manual review of the app’s code, and we have been fixing what we found since.

Tell us about a problem

If something does not work for you, email hello@immigrantsdating.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. It helps to tell us which page, what you were trying to do, and the device and any assistive technology you use. If you need information from us in a different format, ask and we will do our best.

We treat it like any complaint: we acknowledge it, normally within 7 days and always within 30, and tell you what we will do, normally within one month.
