Questions, reports, appeals and complaints

Email hello@immigrantsdating.com. This one address covers everything, including:

  • questions about your account or how the app works
  • reporting someone you have not matched with, or something that happened outside the app
  • appealing a decision about your account (within 14 days of the decision)
  • complaints about how we handled a report, an appeal or anything else

Your personal data

Email privacy@immigrantsdating.com for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to withdraw consent, or to complain about how we have used it. It is free, and we reply within one month.

Report someone in the app

In a conversation, tap the shield button, then Report. Reporting also blocks them straight away, and a person reviews every report within 24 hours, and straight away if someone may be at risk.

Not matched with them, or it happened outside the app? Email hello@immigrantsdating.com.

What happens after you report

In the app

  1. Open your conversation with them.
  2. Tap the shield button, then Report.
  3. Choose the reason that fits best and tap Send report.

Important: We are not an emergency service. If anyone is in danger, call 999 in the UK, or the emergency number where you are.

What to expect

We acknowledge every complaint, normally within 7 days and always within 30, and tell you the outcome and our reasons, normally within one month. We reply to appeals within 7 days.

Our emails come from no-reply@immigrantsdating.com, which is not read. To write to us, please use the addresses above.

Regulators

For complaints about your personal data, you can contact the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commission (still known as the ICO), at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. Ofcom regulates online safety in the UK: it does not settle individual complaints, but you can tell it about a problem with an online service at ofcom.org.uk.
